Mignon Van Der Linde

“Yoga forced me to listen to my body, mind and heart for the first time. “

I began my yoga journey only a short two months before taking a leap of faith and jumping into the TTC. I originally went to learn more about the practice of Ashtanga /Vinyasa. But when I returned and noticed the positive changes it had on my body and mind I knew that this powerful thing called yoga is something I wanted to inspire others to take part in.

I recently completed more training in India where I learnt more about Hatha yoga and found a comfort in the slow movements, static postures and deep breaths and completely fell in love.

One of the reasons I absolutely love teaching yoga is that at any moment teachers can be students and students can be teachers, It is a never ending learning curve.

I am honoured to teach and learn from all who join my classes.

Amalia

Always seeking challenging ways to keep her body moving, Amalia was drawn to yoga looking for a change in her workout routine. Little she knew back then, that yoga would change her life and would make her stay forever in love with the practice. Through regular practice she has found ease to sail through the still or rough waves of life.

“Yoga came into my life when despite having the job, the man, the life, I was constantly looking for more. I will never forget my first class, the flowing energy, the sweat and the laughs. What a great community. Since then, every class makes me feel lighter, cleansed and energized.”

Yoga is still teaching her every day that we are all that we need to be. Through consistent practice, it teaches us to subtly strip away and release all the toxic stories that keep us from ourselves.

“I consider myself lucky enough to have had as wonderful teachers and mentors for the past 6 years, and from whom I learned, through ease and sometimes through challenge the lessons for me to now be that teacher too. I am forever grateful for the loving wisdom they are sharing with me.”

She completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training with Yoga Works in Bali and started teaching right away, as she wanted to share the benefits of the yoga practice with as many people as possible, hoping they will benefit at least as much as she does from it.

Amalia loves to teach dynamic Vinyasa Flows with Power Yoga influences, and her classes are equally challenging and soothing. Whenever she is not on her mat you will find her by the sea, in the park, by a river, in the woods, anywhere she can connect with the nature and absorb love, peace and harmony.

Joana

I've worked in a fitness industry for over 12 years. I've worked with people all of my adult life, helping them get and stay fit & healthy, teaching both fitness and Pilates classes. But a while ago, I found my real passion in Yoga and 2 years ago I travelled to India as I feel there is no better place to feel the culture of yoga to do my teacher training course. Ever since I just want to spread the 'yoga love' to everyone and everywhere. Namaste

Kate Dravins

I first discovered Yoga when I considered life to be 'Too busy for quiet moments', I was working in a fast-paced environment and reluctant to sit still in my own thoughts.

I originally attended Yoga classes for the movement and exercise, it quickly became a much bigger part of my life.

Yoga has taught me to be kind and respectful in my thoughts and towards my body, as well as opening my eyes to the little things in life by being more present. Along with my love for Yoga, a longing to help others find their inner voice grew.

With this inner fire burning I completed my 200 YYT in Bali in Feb 2020 just before all travel across the world was cancelled this further affirmed one of my life mottos 'What's for you won't pass you'.

I am honoured to welcome and teach students joining my class.
